For the price, I was very, very pleased. Yes, it’s isn’t the most amazing, high-end, audiophile system ever made. It’s also $300.
It has 3 HDMI inputs, and one output. Plug in the computer, PS3, Xbox… and run one cable to the TV. There’s RCA and digital audio inputs as well.
The speakers are small, yet have a great sound.
A friend was house sitting for me, and liked the system. When he looked it up online, he said he was amazed it was a $300 system, and expected it to be twice that much. Modern A/V equipment has certainly come down in price and up in quality in the last handful of years.
I can turn it up enough to anger the neighbors, yet it’s still clean sounding. What more do you need? I considered a 7.1 system, but until I have a room dedicated to an A/V system, I just don’t have room for all those speakers.
For those of you that are on a budget and for simplicity, this system is great. Also can apply to those that have a smaller room such as a dorm, or small living room.
